Instead of soaking, seeds can be directly planted immediately after nicking. Soaking the seeds or nicking helps moister to penetrate easily and hence speed up the germination process. The tree can also be propagated using stem cuttings and potting it in the moist potting mix however growth in it is quite slow as compared to seed propagation.
Delonix regia is a native to Madagascar but adopted to the habitat of other tropical regions, looking at which it needs a soil that provides enough warmth with the right balance of manure and fertilizers. Also, looking at the growth factor it needs wide and large spaces in the garden to grow as it can grow up to five feet in a year.
